127 HOURS

The film is based on the true story of Aaron Ralston, the American mountain climber who amputed his arm to free himself after being trapped under a rock in Robbers Roost, Utah for nearly five days in May 2003.

Aaron Ralston’s story is truly remarkable. In 2003, mountain climber Aaron Ralston ( James Franco ) was climbing a remote canyon in Utah, in the USA, and an arm got stuck on a rock.
Dressed, among other things with a video camera and a pocket knife, Ralston seems to have the hours counted here: 127. His right forearm was pinned under a large stone block and was there for almost five days, until he realized in the place where he was he wouldn’t be rescued. Then, he decided to cut his right forearm wit a small knife. Then he wrapped it and climbed a hill to find a family who was on tour. After that, he was rescued
by a helicopter.
